What to have ready before checking your refund status.
- Your CRA login access through My Account or a supported sign-in method
- Recent filing details and any Notice of Assessment information
- Banking details if you are confirming direct deposit setup
If you recently filed and your refund status is not yet available, wait for CRA processing to update before assuming there is an issue. If the CRA has requested information or sent a review letter, respond promptly and keep a copy of the documents you provide.
